رفضت مصر الانتقادات الأميركية لإلغائها مؤتمرا للجماعات المدافعة عن حقوق الإنسان كان مقررا عقده في الأسبوع الأخير من سبتمبر/أيلول الماضي، ودعا إلى المؤتمر ناشطون حقوقيون عدّوا إلغاءه مثالا على موقف القاهرة العدائي تجاه جماعات حقوق الإنسان.
